Sumio Endo

Sumio (Sam) Endo has around 30 years of progressive and successful products development and management experience in the Panasonic cellular phone business group which he joined after graduation in 1974. Born in 1951, Sam holds a Bachelor of Electronics in Electronics Science from the Chiba Institute of Technology and an equivalent of an MBA and EMBA in Business Management from Matsushita Communication Industrial Co.

Sam created and managed the Panasonic Mobile US R&D Center, UK R&D Center and Beijing R&D Center for TDMA/GSM/3G technologies between 1997 and 2005. In addition to this Sam has three years experience in Qualcomm Japan where he drove product marketing and engineering management as well as successfully running his own consultancy business.

Sam joined Teleca in 2009.
