Teleca joins the Open Handset Alliance as world class Android Systems Integration House with Global Scale

Teleca has now become members of the Open Handset Alliance (OHA), and we will be offering Systems Integration for Google’s Android platform around the world. Our size and geographic position will make us the largest Integrated Solutions House in the Android Ecosystem.

We will be working closely with Alliance members to provide Systems Integration services and solutions on a global scale. We have already established a large capacity of Android experts and we are ramping up our global operations to offer a complete set of solutions around Android, enabling our customers to quickly capitalize on the advantages from this exciting Open Source initiative. Our service and solution portfolio is optimized for all players in the ecosystem including handset manufacturers, mobile platform providers, chipset vendors, and Mobile Internet providers.

Teleca provides solutions for all your issues around Android product development and leverages its vast Android experience to your project. Our expertise covers the whole range of services from Android target integration and optimization, middleware extension, application development and customization up to Android based platform creation. We can also act as the link between operators and handset manufacturers to ensure all operator specific requirements are complied with at launch.

Projects already started

We are currently developing a CDMA compliant version of Android, coordinated from our unit in Germany. Our Russian offshore center has already delivered a multimedia client/set of Java APIs for other customers, while we are in discussions with several other handset manufacturers, platform providers and network operators to help them integrate new solutions based on Android.

We are ramping up our capacity in our Low Cost Locations (Russia, China and India) to offer all companies in the Android ecosystem an entry into this important new market at a very competitive cost.
